John Edgar Caterson is a cultural architect, activist, futurist, speaker, and an inspiring author who is passionate about pioneering innovative ways to launch authentic communities of faith, love, & hope as well as igniting personal & organizational creativity, innovation, and diversity.

He is committed to igniting environments that expand imagination, promote creativity, and maximize the creative potential in every individual and organization. John Edgar is also the catalyst behind Ignite.

Engaging such issues as culture, creativity, change, and leadership, John Edgar is becoming known as a thought-provoking communicator and cultural architect. His travels have taken him to over 40 countries and he has spoken to thousands of people from a wide variety of audiences at universities, conferences, festivals, and churches.

He also serves as the President & CEO of BNMI – a non-profit specializing in strategic partnerships, activating church multiplication, and igniting Next-Gen leadership. He serves as the national director of the Re-Ignition Project [The Character & Strength-Based, Narrative Transitional Program for Returning Military Chaplains & Soldiers]. John Edgar is a church multiplication associate in the CMA and the Mosaic Alliance. He also serves as a Faith Field Associate with The Gallup Organization.

John Edgar was born in Philadelphia, and is attended Toccoa Falls College, Princeton Theological Seminary, The University of Edinburgh and The Beeson International Center at Asbury Theological Seminary. He lives with his wife Kristi, son Gabriel, and two daughters Annabelle & Aliza, in Lithia, Florida.
